Oh what a month it has been!
Thanksgiving was restful & fun to be with family. Unfortunately, Glade was not his happiest self due to his recent surgery. He had his ear tubes replaced (one was blocked), tonsils & adenoids removed--and he's only 2.
The Good-fingers crossed for a healthier winter (he has already had strep, hand/foot/mouth, & several viral colds
The Bad-waking up from anesthesia. He was a madman! Ripped out IV, 3 more attempts, & lots of pain!
&The Ugly-an incisional infection! His breath would scare a wolf away! It increased his pain and healing time
The good news: he's all healed, hasn't gotten sick, & has enjoyed some fun Christmas festivities. Sledding was a favorite. Hot chocolate a treat. Meeting Santa was fun.
The Christmas chaos has begun with a holiday party every night last week, M-F. Plus, Greg turned 33-yikes! Lots of babysitting, dressing up, and eating this week. This coming week, we are off to VEGAS to spend time together as a family. Nearly done with shopping. 5 lbs gained from holiday treats. Excited for Glade to appreciate Christmas this year.
